Flächenkonzept (urgent) across-the-board concept Explanation: or a nationwide concept - it really is a bit hard to tell what they mean. Can you ask your customer? Alison -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 33 mins (2004-11-03 12:44:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- These \"shop-in-shops\" are called \"concessions\" in the UK: \"The are several concession shops on the Fashion Balcony and on the adjacent first floor to compliment our exciting offer including Planet, Windsmoor, Alexon, Principles, Eastex, Anne Harvey, Dash, Regine, Benetton and Precis\" http://www.buy4now.ie/arnotts/about.asp?location=STW -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 35 mins (2004-11-03 12:46:14 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- \"Meaning of CONCESSION Pronunciation: kun\'seshun WordNet Dictionary Definition: [n] ***a contract granting the right to operate a subsidiary business***; \"he got the beer concession at the ball park\" [n] the act of conceding or yielding [n] a point conceded or yielded; \"they won all the concessions they asked for\" \" http://www.hyperdictionary.com/dictionary/concession -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 36 mins (2004-11-03 12:47:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- \"Concession shop Component of the development of the strategic departement store into an integrated specialist retailer. Flächenkonzept (urgent) complete range Explanation: I may well be wrong here - hence the low confidence level - but I think this means that the outlets are being offer the entire range as a "Flächenkonzept" for their store. So I would say "The exclusive complete range for your outlet" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 mins (2004-11-03 12:20:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- OK, in view of your added comment, I\'d now suggest \"in-store concept\" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2004-11-03 12:28:00 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- \"In-Store Concept Created for Nike Golf, this ***in-store concept*** comprises a family of wall-mounted and freestanding display units for showcasing clothing, golf bags and golf clubs. A series of plastic attachments can be used to highlight particular garments or accessories\" http://www.framemag.com/products/products,53.asp “Store-in-store concept” might be a step too far, but here\'s a good fashion reference: Van Beirendonck loves collaboration. That was clear at the opening of his flagship store in Antwerp. Together with Australian star designer Marc Newson and Antwerp architects \"B-Architecten\", they developed the décor for a former car park building. They developed a ***“store-in-store concept”***, whereby the shop premises offer space to various designers, and Van Beirendonck’s own clothes can be shown in trade fairs and in other environments in a suitable way, thanks to multicoloured, container-like structures. http://www.belgium.be/eportal/application?languageParameter=... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 9 mins (2004-11-03 13:20:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Be very careful with \"shop-in-shop concept\" (or my \"store-in-store concept\") unless you\'re absolutely sure that that\'s what\'s meant |

Flächenkonzept (urgent) Not for points! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 6 hrs 34 mins (2004-11-05 18:45:12 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- This might also help: http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:klLxDGLThLkJ:www.imc-ag... |
