Reference: Dialogstrecke - complete path of communication (links)

Reference information:
which sites the visitor is going to click on / visit from beginning (searching terms) to end (buying the product/renting the hotel room)

"Dialogstrecke" because it is a dialogue, in a way, between the questions the prospective client has and the answers he/she receives at his various internet steps
Ideally, there is a right answer and clickable link for each of his/her questions and because of that , he/she will go the whole distance to actually buy the product.

I looked at some of the English pages of the website from which the text is taken, and dialogue is not used once. Probably because in German "dialogue" often goes deeper than just communicating.

I believe, "communication" is the word you need.
path of communication" sounds good to me although what is really meant is "complete" path of communication or really complete path of communication links.

alternatives, possibly:
complete communication path
complete information exchange path

One of the basic problems in a computer communication network design is to select the switching method.
Early computer networks were built over the existing telephone networks using principles of telephone switching,
namely line (circuit) switching. With circuit switching, a complete path of communication links must be set up
between two parties before the real communication begins.
