German term or phrase: geliehene Zeit
Produktbeschreibung eines Humidors

Zigarren sind mehr als ein bloßes Tabakerzeugnis, sie sind ein Stück geliehene Zeit.

My first thought was "borrowed time", but it has a somewhat negative connotation.
Though one could argue that smokers are living on borrowed time anyway.

Any ideas appreciated.

(a piece of) quality time

Explanation:
Yes, borrowed time has negative connotations. I agree with Stephen's idea of lifestyle, and it got me thinking about luxury etc. Just an alternative to that.

extra treat

Explanation:
Cigars are more than mere tobacco products. Savour/Enjoy them as a special treat in those blue hours of the day.

Ich weiß, dass die "blaue Stunde" streng genommen nur die Zeit der Dämmerung ist, aber vielleicht im übertragenen Sinne? (Wikipedia zur blauen Stunde: The blue hour comes from a French expression (l'heure bleue) which refers to the often magical hour experienced between the hours of daylight and darkness. It is also used to refer to the Paris immediately prior to World War I, which was considered to be a time of relative innocence before the horrors that were to follow.)
