For information Explanation: I am unable to offer a translation, but this information may help you, perhaps? Here are two diagrams showing edge-flesh stitching and edge-edge stitching. Stitch types for the attachment of the sole of the shoe differ between turn-shoe and turn-welt shoes. Usually a turn-shoe uses an *edge-flesh stitch* to attach the sole to the upper, and *edge-edge stitches* to draw together any seams that are needed to close up the sides of the uppers.
