German term

LT

German to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing
Die Erfahrung hat gezeigt, dass Arbeitspakete nicht größer als 10 LT sein sollten, um im Projektverlauf ein sinnvolles Controlling vornehmen und Planabweichungen frühzeitig erkennen zu können.

This has stumped me, I know MT for "Manntage", possibly Leutetage if that even exists???
TIA Stephen

Discussion

Ingeborg Gowans (X) Apr 8, 2006:
I coudln't find anything in glossary and googling under manufacturing terms etc. but my guess is that it might have sth to do with "Last..." since the number infront is indicating something specific like a weight? Maybve I am totally "out in left field",

naja, you probably want a translation (although you can probably do that better than I can here). I'd stay with mandays, but I'm not really up to speed with PM jargon.
