Die vollelektrische Baureihe basiert auf einem Grundkonzept, das sehr gut zur Herstellung von Kunststoffartikeln unter Reinraumbedingungen geeignet ist. Modularität, gute Zugänglichkeit, ***geschlossene Medienführung*** und gekapselte Antriebssysteme führen zu einer erheblichen Reduzierung der Gesamtemissionen.

Es geht wohl darum, dass die Leitungen, durch die diverse Flüssigkeiten (Kühlung, Hydraulik etc) geleitet werden, geschlossen sind. Hat jemand einen griffigen englischen Ausdruck dafür?

agree  Ken Cox: in this context, media are working fluids (as TWG-trans pointed out), but the term 'media' is commonly used (including for the singular in US usage!)
