Bänderteil und Hauptmaschine verbinden, es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Unterbänder des Bänderteils (2) nicht höher stehen als die Schweißwalze.

This is part of an instruction for what to do in the event of a bag jam on the bag making machine. Usually Band is referring to a conveyor belt in this documentation, but I am not sure in this particular case.
