peer consultation
Explanation:
oder peer-to-peer consultation
oder intervision

as opposed to supervision.

neutral  phillee: 'Beratung' has more general defiinition: "Zusammenkunft von Leuten, um Informationen zu einem Thema auszutauschen" - I think 'advice' might be too specific in this context.

agree  Yimu.W: I agree with Ellen, as I feel that the source text has a more mentoring tone.

informal exchange/advice

Explanation:
As in "socializing, informal exchange/advice and networking..."

It's not clear if only the supervisors will be present, or the high potentials as well. That would affect the choice of words, as the supervisors among themselves would more likely be peers, whereas supervisors talking with their supervisees, might be more of an advising/mentoring relationship.

So, maybe "informal exchange" if among supervisors, and "informal advice" if between supervisors and supervisees?

intercollegial communication / discussion

Explanation:
Suggestion:

Good intercollegial communication is a relatively unstudied topic,

One particular source of stress..... is intercollegial relations, both with peers and administrators.

neutral  Ellen Kraus: Intercollegial, as I was told recently, is not as yet a term common in English; and indeed, the only link I found was a non native one, from the Netherlands.

agree  Marc Svetov: I think Cilian is right.

agree  Sanni Kruger (X): I think "peer" is the best term in this context, rather than colleagues. Personally I would opt for peer support - get away from the literal translation. That's the way I read it.
2 hrs

2 hrs

agree  Wendy Streitparth: Definitely the best option (so far!)
5 hrs

1 day 2 hrs
