conceptualization = the forming of a plan or idea or a concept, ability to imagine and understand

On the basis of their definitions, I would go for conceptualization, which covers besides "imagining", other functions such as the forming of a plan or idea or a concept, ability to imagine and understand. I am sure, you will agree with me that the company would certainly go for a guy who does more than "imagining"
