German term or phrase: Regelkreis
Context:

"- durch Einhaltung des Regelkreises (Planen, Durchführen, Beurteilen und Optimieren) die vor materiellen und immateriellen Schäden bewahrt werden"

'Control loop' doesn't seem to make much sense here (cf. http://www.proz.com/kudoz/592037 etc.).

control loop
Explanation:
I think that control loop can apply. "by applying the control loop (plan, act, evaluate, optimize)"......

Seems to be about image improvement through elimination of faults and improved quality.

Notes to answerer
Asker: But how does that sit with the second part of the sentence? "By adhering to/applying the control loop that is protected against material and immaterial damage..." doesn't seem to make a great deal of sense.

Asker: Especially not with the plural "bewahrt werden".
