IMO 'governing body' is better than 'executive body' for 'Organ'. The executive body is the management board, which is responsible for the operation of the organisation (hence the title CEO). It executes the policies etc. defined by the directors.

Maybe "Institutions of the Federal Association" ?... you asked "The general meeting is a body?" Well, it seems acceptable either way, "body" or "institutions" Yes? : )

If you do a search for "annual general meeting and decision-making body" you will come across tons of links, mostly European, Indian, Chinese, but also some Australian sites, all of which consider the annual general meeting a decision-making body

about using functions instead of duties, but I'm still faced with "Organe des Bundesverbandes sind a) die Hauptversammlung, b) der Vorstand," etc. The general meeting is a body?

Maybe if you consider translating the word 'Aufgaben' to 'functions' (instead of 'duties') This would then allow for "The Functions of the Annual General Meeting" or "Functions of the General Meeting" (this eliminates the problem with the word 'duties')

Here's a link to a German e.V. that is actually in English, might be useful for some terminology. They call the Hauptversammlung "Annual General Meeting". Most likely these meetings are designed to vote on various decisions. http://www.dsw-info.de/uploads/media/Factsheet2007_01.pdf

I'd go with the General Assembly as you have suggested, for "general meeting" can hardly have "duties". They usually have an agenda. A good idea that Assembly. :-)
