agree  Kim Metzger: abetting tax fraud - any difference between fraud and evasion?

-> Not sure but apparently there is a subtle difference between 'evasion' and 'avoidance'!

neutral  Michael Kucharski: "Hehlerei" (per definition) comes after tax evasion/tax fraud is completed and is not the same as "Beihilfe/Anstiftung zur Steuerhinterziehung" which occurs before the offense is committed.

-> As you rightly point out, ‘abetting’ = Anstiftung. ‘aiding’ (=Beihilfe) can come at any stage including ‘receiving’ tax which had been evaded. The only person guilty of ‘receiving’ taxes in UK is called Gordon Brown (Chancellor of the Exchequer)

conspiracy to commit tax fraud

Explanation:
tax evasion is illegal, tax avoidance is perfectly legal (taking advantage of loopholes the tax code offers)
