Corporate Group no.
Explanation:
Concern is, as per Huber's translation prmers, a false friend with das Konzern that means a group of companies or, as a journalistic preference, a conglomerate of companies or combine as a combination of companies - and nowt to do with combine harvesters.

Here we could have an 'Organschaft' scenario, namely unravelling parent-subsidiary transfer pricing and other tax-fraught interactions-

disagree  David Moore (X): In a tax office environment, each company has its own individual "KonzNr.", whether it's part of a group or not.

-> This is Munich of conglomerate, corporate tax-'planning' tendencies, plus it's still a Konzern and not a Roman Catholic Konzil.

Group Registration Number

Explanation:
Group tax audit is the context I guess so I would say group registration number - as in company registration number but for the group. Maybe it is from a Handelsregister.

Company/corporate/business tax number

Explanation:
The tax number (Steuernummer)
The Steuernummer, Steuer-Identnummer or St-Nr. is for freelancers and businesses. It's a 10 or 11 digit number, and has the format "12/345/67890". It's sometimes written in the unified federal format as "3012034567890", where the first two digits are the number of your Bundesland1, 2.

Re the two later contributions
group
I avoided the use of 'group' in my answer because of the ambiguity: tax group - tax band
registration
Paying tax is not a voluntary activity which a company registers for.

I do not consider that the omission/deletion of 'tax' in these two answers represents added value.

Unless you select the answer that was 'most helpful' (e.g. speed of response, identification of number type), the question will close automatically on 7th August on the basis of uncommented agrees from Phil Goddard and Conny Reilly and one commented agree (Konzen!) from David Hollywood.

neutral  philgoddard: It's 'Konzernnummer', not 'Steuernummer'.

-> Please read question classification (Law: Taxation), asker's previous query and DB discussion above ("It is a 10 digit number"). What do you think of Adrian's web link? ("How does the conglomerate companies pay taxes?")

agree  David Moore (X): Certainly. I have a little translation company (a one-man band), and I have a "KonzNr." bei der hiesigen FA. The best option here is "Company number".

neutral  David Moore (X): I don't think this applies in a tax office environment. Banks can run consolidated accounts for groups, but that ain't a tax office concern!
