(tax) joint exemption; (ins.) mutual payment-up of co. pension schemes Explanation: Participation exemption is Denglish and really doesn't work, either in Oz or the UK. Watch the insurance sense: it doesn't mean an exemption, but a paid-up policy e.g. when a co. goes bust. Example sentence(s):

tax exempted/exemption amount for married couples Explanation: In answer to your question about "participation exemption"-that would be wrong I think because it refers to Körperschaftsteuer (corporation tax) whereas here we are talking about Kapitaletragssteuer (capital gains tax) for which the right expression would be tax exemption/exempted amount |
