This is at the bottom of an auto invoice. I found Altteilmehrwertsteuer in a google invoice but I'm not sure what this is about. Is it a special rate MWSt for used parts?

VAT on used car parts
Explanation:
Are you sure that "AT" stands for "Altteil"? It can also stand for "Austrian", ie "AT-MWST" means "Austrian VAT". If you know for sure that it refers to "Altteilmehrwertsteuer", then this is an additional item of VAT which is levied on used car parts. See the website link below, which I think you will find helpful. There is no equivalent in English VAT law, but "VAT on used car parts" is a more accurate translation than "sales tax on used car parts".

Explanation:
might be a possible solution

Yes, you're right: Altteil- Mehrwertsteuer: Der Gesetzgeber erhebt für Austauschteile zusätzlich zur derzeit gültigen Mehrwertsteuer von 19% eine "Altteilmehrwertsteuer". Diese beträgt 19% auf 10% des Nettopreises des Austauschteils.

A special tax imposed (in Germany) on used car parts.

low cl, since I have no idea of the correct English term, I don't know whether such a concept exists in other countries. You might include the German term in brackets or "German sales tax on ..."
