German term or phrase: angesonnen
Das Feststellungsinteresse für den aktuellen Antrag ...habe der Kläger, weil ihm nicht angesonnen werden könne, einzelne Patentverletzungen zu ermitteln und zu bekämpfen...

This is from a judgement (hence the reported speech construction). I'm not familiar with "angesonnen" although the usual references give me things to do with "request" or "suggest".
I have:
The Claimant has a legal interest in the declaratory judgement for this claim because he (it/the Claimant) cannot be required to determine and contest individual patent violations....

Have I interpreted this correctly? Confirmation or otherwise would be welcome, thanks.

reasonable

Explanation:
It's another word for "zumutbar", i.e. "es ist ihm nicht zumutbar/nicht zuzumuten"

neutral  Kim Metzger: Yes, but how do you say "es ist ihm nicht Zumutbar" in English? "Reasonable" by itself doesn't work.
