out of an abundance of caution Explanation: Nur eine Floskel? The phrase, "out of an abundance of caution,” is often used when explaining an action that isn’t necessary, but is going to be done anyway because you want to be extra careful http://www.bifurcatedneedle.com/new-blog/2015/7/22/out-of-an... |

(AUT) aus advokatorischer Vorsicht ... bestritten denied ....in erring on the side of legal professional caution Explanation: Methinks this is a practical professional indemnity point, lest a charge of negligence 'in the course of un/skilled advocacy' is brought. I have hunch that the source text is Austrian (Advokat is an old word for a rechtsanwalt/wältin) so *lawyerly precaution* would certainly fit the bill. Also note the diffrerence between a general and specific 'traverse' in EN pleadings. Example sentence(s):

lawyerly prudence Explanation: Citing lawyerly prudence, the defendant has, at this point, denied the errors alleged by the plaintiff. |
