der geschuldeten Beschaffenheit (immer noch) entsprechen
(still) meet the as-contracted standard

Explanation:
New poster - often means an initial ProZ glossary search 'alert'.

I agree anyway with Phil G's construction of the phrase (interpretation of the phrase).

neutral  philgoddard: "As-contracted" looks odd. Why not say "contractual"?

-> meeting e.g. the contract spec. or contractual standard may be ambiguous as to the timing - pre- or-post agreement, plus as-contracted rules out any connotation of 'implied terms', namely imported by German law into the deal and not agreed by the parties.

agree  TonyTK: The insertion of "still" is a good idea; might be a better way of phrasing it but I can't think of one off the top of my head.

the required physical condition

Explanation:
"Hence, any resulting wear and tear would be line with/comply with the required physical condition (standard)."

I may have sent people in the wrong direction with my initial entry. I think it's important to keep the focus on "Beschaffenheit" as that's the hardest part to translate.

(signs of wear and tear) are consistent with the warranted quality.

Explanation:
Use of "are consistent with" frames the (signs of) wear and tear as the subject of the clause. "Quality" is handy because it can mean anything, i.e standard, property, characteristic.
