agree  Steffen Walter: Siehe auch http://www.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/law_patents_trad... ("rights clearance" finde ich allerdings passender).

  -> Dankeschön, Steffen. Es gibt wohl beide Ausdrücke, "clearing of rights" und "rights clearance", aber Letzteres ist m.E. gebräuchlicher.
