agree  Rowan Morrell: This one has thrown me in the past! But with a little more experience behind me, I can only agree about ignoring the "technisch" suffix. German is full of these superfluous expressions.

agree  Sonja Schuberth-Kreutzer: ja, "-technisch" ist ein Adjektivmacher, genau wie "-mäßig" (z.B. in "Jobmäßig sieht's bei mir gut/schlecht aus") und, manchmal, "-politisch". Eine Möglichkeit, aus (fast) jedem Substantiv ein Adjektiv zu machen.
