"Tagequotient" bezeichnet bei der Berechnung des Ausschüttungsbetrages für einen beliebigen Zeitraum die tatsächliche Anzahl der Tage in diesem Berechnungszeitraum geteilt durch die tatsächliche Anzahl der Tage der (gesamten) Ausschüttungsperiode in die der Berechnungszeitraum fällt.

I understand exactly what the Tagequotient is and the function it serves (i.e. to permit a pro rata distribution on an instrument that is withdrawn before the end of the full calculation period), but am struggling to find a non-verbose English rendering for it.
