Richtlinienkonforme Sondervermögen |
|
*directive-compliant special assets* Explanation: The term answered consists of two parts. Part one: *richtl.-konf.* is the abbreviation for richtlinien-konform. The meaning is: Every fund is classified being in one of the risk categories and suitable for a different type of investor. Therefore a "low risk" funds is only able to invest in public bonds and similar interest-earning investment vehicles. A funds with a communicated higher risk-chance profile is also enabled to invest e.g. in turn-around companies. Therefore all investments have to be Directive-compliant to whatever ruling for the special type of funds is valid. Part two: SV -> Sondervermögen The legislation has learnt due to some defaulting trustees and/or funds. Therefore the amounts invested are NOT paid in to the current account of the investment company but a completely separated account only used for this investment funds. All assets and money invested has to be managed completely separated from the net equity of the issuer/funds company. This Sondervermögen could be translated as being *special assets*. Hope this helps. |
