German term or phrase: emittentengeschützt
This term comes from a text dealing with a precious metals portfolio (specifically, gold). I have included a few sentences to provide some context.

insolvency protection certificate

Explanation:
xxx AG acquires gold in physical form for the investor. The latter in turn benefits from very favorable purchasing conditions, as we buy the gold directly from the producer thereby eliminating intermediation margins. The gold is insured and then separately deposited with the custodian bank. There it is collateralized with an ***insolvency protection certificate*** and can also be delivered in physical form to the investor were this to be required.
