Bei allen Anlagegruppen können Wertschriften gegen Gebühr an die Depotbank oder über die Depotbank an Dritte ausgeliehen werden (Securities Lending). Die Vorschriften der Fondsgesetzgebung gelten dabei analog (Artikel 34 Absatz 2 litera a AFG, Artikel 33 AFV, Artikel 21ff. der Verordnung der EBK über die Anlagefonds). Die Einhaltung der Schuldnerbegrenzungen von Artikel 54 BVV2 muss gewährleistet bleiben.
