arm/body Explanation: I don't think a non-incorporated, non-commercial entity such as a town can have 'subsidiaries' or 'affiliates'. I would suggest something like 'the shareholding in...is being transferred to MEW, Minden's development and economic assistance arm'. Depending on context, 'body' 'vehicle' 'department' etc might be preferable to 'arm'. |
