I'm looking for an English equivalent of "reklamieren" in the following sense. The sentence is taken from an expert report.

"Es wurden mechanische Beschädigungen reklamiert."

"Reklamation", "Reklamationssumme", "Reklamant", "Reklamationsgegenstand", "reklamierte Ware", et.c are also in the text. Der Reklamant and der Anspruchsteller are the same Person/Party.
