at-fault claims / fault claims Explanation: Just to get the ball rolling: I would say that "at-fault" (or sometimes, just "fault" ) is indeed appropriate here - but happy to hear suggestions from colleagues! (Am/Can Eng) chargeable claims (triggering loss of the no-claim bonus or premium increase) Explanation: Neither belastend as in nuisance, as I have been described in German, nor at-fault, nor incriminating, nor claims for blight, but ones that eat into and erode the no-claims bonus 'für Schadenfreiheit' and/or put up the premiums. US Am ins. co. quote: 'Practices vary from company to company, but in general, an insurer will increase your premium by specific percentages for each chargeable claim made against your policy above a specific dollar amount. A chargeable claim is one the insurer considers primarily your fault. The percentages and ceilings vary from company to company. These increases generally stay on your premium for three years following the claim.'
