Schrägenanschlag
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Furniture / Household Appliances
Furniture catalogue:
Die Türen lassen sich an jede Raumsituation anpassen, sie sind mit oder ohne Schrägenanschlag möglich.
These fitted wardrobes are designed to fit into the slope in an attic room. Anybody know what these Schrägenanschlag thingies are? stoppers? buffers? some sort of extrusion?
TIA!

beveled door stop
It seems to me that the doors can be mounted with or without beveled door stops. A Schrägschliff, for example, is a beveled grind.

First, the door needs to be cut to size and bevelled. A well-fitting door requires clearance about the thickness of a nickel on both sides and the top. These edges should also be bevelled inward a couple of degrees for additional clearance when opening, and to prevent hinge binding.

Door Stop: A device to stop the swing or movement of a door at a certain point. Also an architectural term defining that part of a door frame against which the door closes.
