Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Vorrichtung zur Trocknung von insbesondere pflanzlichen Produkten, beispielsweise Hopfen, mit mehreren übereinander angeordneten Horden, einer Einrichtung zum Einbringen des Trocknungsguts zur oberen Horde, den oberen Horden zugeordneten Einrichtungen zur Weiterbeförderung des Trocknungsguts auf die jeweils darunter liegende Horde, einer der untersten Horde zugeordnete Transporteinrichtung zur Entfernung des getrockneten Guts, und einer Quelle zur Zufuhr von Trocknungsmitteln.

Derartige Trocknungsvorrichtungen sind beispielsweise aus dem deutschen Gebrauchsmuster 7321018 bekannt. Das zu trocknende Gut, beispielsweise Hopfen, wird auf eine waagrechte Fläche in möglichst gleichförmiger Lage aufgebracht und von unten mit einem Trocknungsmittel, in der Regel angewärmter Luft, beaufschlagt. Nach ausreichender Vortrocknung auf dieser ersten Fläche, der Horde, die als Laufband ausgebildet sein kann, fällt das Trocknungsgut auf eine darunter liegende Horde, entweder am Ende eines Laufbandes oder, sofern die Horden nicht als Laufbänder ausgeführt sind, durch Öffnungen in den Horden. Dazu sind die Horden mit gesteuert zu öffnenden Jalousien versehen.

Auf der darunter liegenden zweiten Horde wird die Trocknung in gleicher Weise fortgesetzt, und es können stapelartig weitere Horden vorgesehen werden. Bei Hopfendarren sind in der Regel drei Horden angeordnet, wobei die unterste Horde als *Auszugshorde* ausgeführt ist. Mit einem Schieber wird das fertig getrocknete Gut zu einer seitlichen Entnahmeöffnung geschoben, oder über Jalousien auch in dieser Horde kann der Hopfen auf den Hopfenboden gekippt werden.

In an industrial hop drying system with multiple levels, the floors are usually called trays - the first in the drying process is the loading tray and the last is the unloading tray.

In a atraditional oast house, green hops are loaded onto the top floor, which has movable battens. Halfway through the drying process, the floor is tilted and the hops drop to the next lower level and the top floor is reloaded. This lower level may be fitted with trays to make unloading easier.

Explanation:
The lowest level in a hops kiln is the level from which the dried hops are extracted (see links below; page 235 in the book). I believe Auszugshorde is simply referring to this fact.

I would translate the second part of the sentence as: "where the lowest level / floor is where the hops are extracted from (the kiln)."
