Food & Drink / Packaging
German term or phrase: lebensmittelrechtliche Kennzeichnung
This appear on a form sheet for food suppliers as a heading, and it relates to packaging of food - food not specified:

Lebensmittelrechtliche Kennzeichnung/Verkehrsbezeichnung

Next line: Zutaten

and that's all the context I have.
Can I simply say: food label(l)ing?

labelling in accordance with food regulations
Explanation:
A slight adaptation of Stephen's suggestion.
Food Labelling Regulations 1996 is the name of the Act applicable in the UK and so I think "regulations" would be a better choice than "law".

agree  MMUlr: IMO -> food law (see also: http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/consumers/consumer_in... ) and within "food law" there are "labelling regulations" (and a lot more regulations, directives etc.)
