terrain sheet for the biotope Explanation: https://www.hamburg.de/biotopkartierung Example: https://www.hamburg.de/contentblob/584294/c746fd052985879c39... Information about the biotope mapping in English: http://www.stadtentwicklung.berlin.de/umwelt/umweltatlas/e_t... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 8 hrs (2018-11-19 04:55:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Since the real interest is habitat conservation, perhaps "biotope-mapped data (Biotopbögen)" works better here. It was already hinted at by Eine individuelle Beschreibung von Biotopen. https://www.hamburg.de/details-der-biotopkartierung/ Darstellung: Die kartierten Flächen werden als GIS-Daten mit ArcGIS graphisch dargestellt. Die dazugehörigen Sachdaten (Biotop- und Standortbeschreibung, Pflanzenartenliste etc.) werden in Biotopbögen aufgenommen und in das Biotopkataster eingespeist. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 9 hrs (2018-11-19 05:12:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- From the Berlin link: The data of the Biotope Type Map, which is now available as a full-coverage instrument, can be used not only for conservation tasks, but also for urban and regional planning, environmental analyses, environmental impact assessments, mandatory reports and forest development planning. In addition to other environmental data, the biotope type data are also to be used in a digital procedure for the strategic environmental assessment (SEA). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 9 hrs (2018-11-19 05:34:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Two more ideas: http://www.gardline.com/activities/service/habitat-classific... Gardline collect, analyse and interpret marine data, using both seabed sampling ans photographic techniques. Producing over 85 *individual habitat assessment reports* annually, as standard these include the presence / absence of environmentally sensitive habitats, presentation of habitats using GIS and a selection of annotated seabed images. More complex *biotope mapping reports* incorporate all available data, including geophysical, hydrographic and environmental data. |

Biotopbögen Biotope information sheets Explanation: This might be another option. Reference: http://www.helcom.fi/Red%20List%20of%20biotopes%20habitats%2... |

Habitat data sheet Explanation: "Biotope data sheet" was another idea, although the phrase seems not to appear in English. [It is somewhat related to herbalchemist's suggestion of "biotope-mapped data".] If it is acceptable to replace "biotope" with "habitat" — see Reference comments — then "habitat data sheet" could be used. This phrase seems to be quite used regularly in English. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 days (2018-12-03 08:24:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Reference comments What Is The Difference Between A Biotope And A Habitat? "Although the terms biotope and habitat are often used interchangeably, they have distinct meanings of their own." "In many countries, the terms “biotope” and “habitat,” are [...] used as synonyms. [...] However, a biotope and a habitat are quite different and have distinct meanings." "One characteristic that distinguishes a biotope is its microscale nature [...], sometimes as small as a flower pot. On the other hand, a habitat [...] can cover a large geographical area or a microscopic area." https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/what-is-the-difference-b... https://nctc.fws.gov/courses/csp/csp3200/resources/documents/StreamHabitatComplete.pdf Reference: http://oregon.4h.oregonstate.edu/sites/default/files/project... |

habitat map(ping) Explanation: https://nbn.org.uk/news/oxfordshire-habitat-mapping/ https://www.buckscc.gov.uk/services/environment/ecology-proj... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 days (2018-12-03 11:17:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As an alternative to habitat mapping I would suggest biotope mapping. See third link below. Biotopbogen Erlen-Bruchwald westlich vom Cossensee https://www.umweltkarten.mv-regierung.de/meta/boegen/bk/0406... Ausgabe Biotopbogen in PDF-Datei - Kartenportal Umwelt M-V https://www.umweltkarten.mv-regierung.de/atlas/meta/boegen/b... Biotope Mapping For developments in marine and coastal environments, biotope mapping allows a detailed description of the existing environment. A biotope is described as a habitat with its associated species assemblage and a detailed field survey allows the various biotopes present in an area to be identified and mapped. The mapping of biotopes provides a visual depiction of the natural environment following a standard scheme and allows for the prediction of impacts related to any proposed developments. http://www.botanicalenvironmental.com/services/marine-ecolog... |
