Hi,

How would you translate Leistungsaufnahme? The context is a pump (producing kinetic energy, with the latter being converted to pressure energy - I think?) combined with a turbine (producing power/electricity - I think? This information should be correct though.) containing a runner (Laufrad, see this runner from a different type of turbine, viz. the Francis turbine, here https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis-Turbine#/media/Datei:L... so that what we get is a pump turbine.

Das Füllen stellt den Betriebsübergang vom Phasenschieberbetrieb zum Nullförderbetrieb dar.
Im Phasenschieberbetrieb sind, wie schon erwähnt, die Spiralentlastungsleitung und die Spaltentwässerung geöffnet.
Wenn gefüllt werden soll, können gleichzeitig mit dem öffnen des Bypass-Schiebers diese beiden Leitungen abgesperrt werden.
Damit baut sich sowohl in der Spirale als auch zwischen Lauf- und Leitrad sehr rasch der höchstmögliche Druck auf, mit dessen Hilfe das Laufrad soweit als möglich von außen gefüllt werden kann.
Um sicher zu sein, daß die Spirale keine Luft enthält, ist es zweckmäßig, die Spiralentlüftung zum Füllen zu öffnen.

The suggested translation "power input" strikes me kinda odd. But then, I am no engineer or specialist translator serving the energy industry.
