German term or phrase: abi or Abi
I have a sequence of abbreviations that appear in an excel list of phrases used in dialog boxes and error statements by a computer program. The phrases have some context, but not much.

I'm stuck on the following abbreviations:

Die angegebenen Werte (adr, **abi**, litz) sind nicht gültig. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Angaben.

Shortly thereafter, **Abi.** appears as its own entry, with "Str." as the suggested translation.

I know this is about wires and wire types, and the sentence is perfectly clear, apart from the two abbreviations. I know that 7 Str refers to 7 strand wire. But I have no idea whether Adr refers to stranded wire, or if the suggested translation is completely off base (this is a distinct possibility).

Thank you all in advance

abisoliert = stripped/bare
Explanation:
I am reasonably certain that this must be an abbreviation of abisoliert, meaning the insulation has been stripped from the wire - eg the plastic coating has been removed.

If this is the case, the translation you have is Str. for stripped, rather than strand
