tax deductible concession or tax deductible relief Explanation: This is the term that has been used for many years - for life insurances, mortgage payments, business expenses etc and so on. Basically, a sum of personal expenses of all kinds - EHZ is one of many - can be deducted from total income. The sum that is left over is taxed. If this concession is done away with, the individual will pay more tax - but the mortgage payments will stay at the same level. Meaning, he will have less disposable income in his pocket - but the Finance Minister will have more! |
