German term or phrase: die Haltbarkeit der Mascara- Füllung
Hi all --

I am translating a large beauty-care catalog and I am finding this phrase awkward to translate:
"die Haltbarkeit der Mascara- Füllung" mostly because of the word "Füllung." I thik k "filling" isn't idiomatic English here.

The context is a description of a battery-powered mascara applicator and the sentence concerns the proper disposal of the battery...

Beinhaltet einen Miniaturantrieb und eine abnehmbare, recycelbare Batterie. Batterie muss nicht ausgetauscht werden, dada die Haltbarkeit der Batterie (ca. 2 Jahre) die Haltbarkeit der Mascara-Füllung weit übersteigen wird.

Any help would be appreciated!
