archaic weight unit (approx. 50 gms) Explanation: "Loth hanseatisch" is only a guess, but plausibel, as the new Lübeck "Lot" (my guess. "Lot h.") was 3 times the weight of the old: Das Lot hatte in den verschiedenen deutschen Ländern unterschiedliche Massen, die zusätzlich auch noch zeitlich verschieden waren. Es lag meist zwischen 14 g und 18 g. Einige Beispiele: 15,2 g in Lübeck" (wiki, see link below). Example sentence(s):
