This is a Patent Specification for a support device with a mesh gabion box (a sort of mesh box) used to secure banks / slopes (prevent earth / stones from sliding down).

Zum *Abschluss der Statik* des Gitterkorbes wird dieser beispielsweise mit Naturbruchsteinen wie Basalt, Sandstein, Granit, Kies oder Rohglasbruch vorzugweise von oben befüllt.

I guess the basic meaning is that the gabion box is filled with heavy stones to stop movement, but I am not sure how to translate this specific term.

Ok, so given that there is good reason to believe this concerns 'statics', why not call it for what it does, 'cessation of subsidence' (so the sentence would start as 'As to "cessation of subsidence' ....? This is a subsidence management tool in water management when securing banks/slopes, as asker said.

'Cessation of subsidence' is a very common term. Even 'Control of subsidence' may work, since 'Abschluss' is used also in the sense of 'Aufhebung'.

neutral  Steffen Walter: I fail to see the link between anti-static properties and the various types of crushed rock filled into the cage/box (see context provided by the asker). I strongly believe that this is more about structural stability/resistance.
