molten glass residues Explanation: It's probably waste that starts as superfluous drops of molten glass that arise in the manufacturing process (presumably incadescent light bulbs). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2015-09-26 23:50:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I meant "incandescent", of course! but in English & German (although apparently not French) an ampoule (Ampulle) is a sealed glass container for a liquid that will be injected, not the envelope of a light bulb - but I still think Abschmelzreste is the molten glass residue. |
