Betonoberfläche
Allgemeines

Conclusion:
Different expression are standardized depending on the subject. I propose the expression, which relates to the affected trade.

I have to admit that the correct term in Englisch is bond strength, see:
BS EN 13596:2004
Flexible sheets for waterproofing. Waterproofing of concrete bridge decks and other concrete surfaces trafficable by vehicles. Determination of bond strength.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I can well believe the Austrian translation is wrong. The author of these texts writes poorly and cannot be a qualified technical writer.

neutral  Kim Metzger: Are you saying "bond strength" is not related to the "affected trade"?
9 hrs
-> "tensile bond" is used in ÖNORM EN 13596. "bond strength" is used in DIN EN 13596. This is the correct term as verfied with BSI.
