neutral  Alba Arendsen: I tend to disagree. The reference shows a ladder with hooks suspended vertically, whereas my reference of an "Abspannleiter" shows a straight ladder suspended horizontally. They do not look like the same things. (Changed from Disagree to Neutral)

  -> The model shown is in a vertical position, I believe they also come in different models, I still feel the term suspension ( as in suspension bridge) works well for Abspannleiter.
