antique wall finish

Explanation:
or antiquing plaster

But this depends on whether it is actually old or just made to look old (I'm assuming the latter).

Asker: Many thanks for the detailed explanation. I was under the impression that "putz" is also plaster, so I'm happy with you extra input. Many thanks, Erich.

antique stucco or cement finish

Explanation:
Putz is, if I am not mistaken, a mixture of fine sand, mortar and/or cement, water, and possibly a dye applied to a wall (or ceiling).
In USA (New England anyway) that is called stucco when applied to exterior walls. If applied to interior walls (which is unusual in homes, they would prefer plaster, Gips) it is called cement finish.
Putz could also be based on Gips in which case it would be "antique plaster"

Sorry, I meant lime instead of mortar (mortar is made of lime and sand and water, as you know)
