copying / burn-out Explanation: 2 possibilities: a) it just means copying as you suggested. b) it's the process described below which is called *burn-out* in English, see also Nitsche: Wörterbuch Druck- und Kommunikationstechnik Auskopierung - Freistellung des Werbeeindrucks Auskopierung oder Freistellung Ihres Werbeeindrucks bedeutet, dass von dem bestehenden Filmsatz des Plans eine Kopie gemacht wird und an der Stelle der Karte, wo Ihr Werbeeindruck platziert werden soll, die Karte "ausgeschnitten" wird. Hierbei entstehen Nebenkosten von 4 x 19,- EURO. Auskopierverfahren Altes Kopierverfahren, bei dem sogenannte Auskopierpapiere direkt im Kontakt mit dem Negativ belichtet wurden. Die Papiere wurden nicht chemisch entwickelt, sondern so lange belichtet (in der Grössenordnung von Stunden bei direktem Sonnenlicht), bis eine genügende Schwärzung erreicht war. Anschliessend wurden die Bilder durch Fixieren haltbar gemacht. Diesen Vorgang nennt man auskopieren. (Als experimentelle Methode funktioniert das Auskopieren auch mit modernen Vergrösserungspapieren.)
