German term or phrase: Auspraegungsgrad
Anzahl der Nennung gibt ueber den Auspraegungsgrad (breite und tiefe der Kompetenzen) Aufschluss.

"Anzahl der Nennung" refers to the numbers of letters allocated to different job titles to reflect their importance e.g. top managers get 3x Ls (L=leadership) while divisional managers get 2x Ls, etc.

I'm struggling with the right translation for Auspraegung here. Can anyone help? TIA

scope (breadth and depth of responsibilities)
Explanation:
you might also want to say breadth and depth of (managerial) responsibilities

good luck :)

\"Kompetenzen\" could also be \"skills\" here but I think I would stick with \"responsibilities\" in your context

Explanation:
If it's as you say it is - "to reflect their importance e.g. top managers get 3x Ls (L=leadership) while divisional managers get 2x Ls, etc." - then I would go for "seniority".

Otherwise, lose the "Auspraegungsgrad" and the brackets and just translate "Breite und Tiefe der Kompetenzen"
