needed changes Explanation: Although I agree with you in that "Anpassungen" "adaptation" means, the context that you give goes not in the direction of "adaptation to local/particular conditions", but in the direction of "adaptation to the conditions needed to be global players". In this sense, I would rather speak of "needed changes", not so much of "adaptation". Also, I think that the word "speziell" in: "Speziell Anpassungen in Management, Produktionskapazitäten und Vermarktung können durch spezifische Beratung wesentlich unterstützt werden. " doesn't mean "special" but "specially" and is related to "können...unterstützt werden", not to "Anpassungen in Management, Produktionskapazitäten und Vermarktung" |

adaptations Explanation: First off, I don't think we're talking about adaptations to management, production capacities and marketing. I think we're talking about adaptations in these things (to meet external conditions) rather than adapting something else to meet the existing management, production capacities and marketing. But how about changing your example sentence to something along the lines of Individualized consulting can help your managment, production capabilities and marketing adapt. or Individualized consulting can help you adapt your managment, production capabilities and marketing. and leave it up in the air exactly what the adaptation is to? (I'm assuming your client is someone who wants to sell these services and is willing to give a bit of leeway in phrasing.) |
