Can anyone help here please?

thanks a lot

field employees
Explanation:
I gave it another thought.
An "Außendienstmitarbeiter" is a sales representative, but a field service employee is an "Außendienstmitarbeiter" too.
To be on the safe side I'd use "field employee".

neutral  Stephen Sadie: Normally Servicemitarbeiter is the person you are thinking of or often described more specifially e.g. Serviceingenieur etc.//also yours could be a farm worker!

agree  Textklick: I've always used 'field staff'' for the reasons you list. Sales staff is not necessarily Aussendienst, and Sales Reps are a bit out of date in these days of grandiose titles.

  -> Thanks, C.

agree  Trudy Peters: I would hope the context would rule out "farm worker" ;-)

agree  Gareth McMillan: Or field staff
