enrichment plantation
Explanation:
Anreicherungspflanzungen means enrichment plantations, rather than enrichment plants, which gives it another meaning.

As I understand it, the plantation has nothing to do with increasing the biological diversity in the area or accumulating any toxins.

The goal is simply to connect the biological reserves by planting local trees in the corridor between them. That would make sense to me; preserving the forest with its indigenous species.

"Enrichment planting is such a method of silvicultural management that rehabilitate poorly stocked logged-over forest without eliminating the existing individuals. It is essentially a process of supplementing the natural regeneration with seedlings of commercial species [3]. Usually indigenous species are planted in enrichment planting." (see ref 1)
"These involve the suspension of the on-going afforestation/reforestation
programme; and allowing the natural forest to regenerate naturally, or the adoption of
natural forest- enrichment plantation technique using endemic/native tree species that are
aboriginal to the environment." (see ref 2)

accumulating plant

Explanation:

-> Vielen Dank, Alan!

improvement planting

It includes also the reforestation of banks of dam reservoirs on 4,800 ha (2,800 ha by direct planting and 2,000 ha by improvement planting),...

Or maybe a description like "supplementary trees" could work, if it is just a matter of explaining that additional trees will be planted and not a question of a specific term.

agree  Cetacea: with "enrichment planting", as the source text refers to the method rather than the result. But you are right, the term the asker should have posted is "Anreicherungspflanzung".

complementary planting

Explanation:
it's definitely NOT a plantation, more of a 'tree nursery', but that wasn't the question
