slotted for opening Explanation: Could work in this context. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2015-03-01 04:42:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Anything along the lines of “registering” is obviously too formal and not appropriate in this context. To me, “slotted for opening” means the door will be “set to open” in a sequence of events triggered by the turn of the switch.
