German term or phrase: polynesisches Sternbild der Y-Gabel
'Der Stern Algol ist als "guiding star" dargestellt, verbunden mit dem polynesischen Sternbild der Y-Gabel.'
This is the description of a painting, depicting symbols for stars visible in the southern hemisphere. I googled 'Y-Gabel', 'Y-fork', 'polynesian constellations' etc, but could find absolutely no mention of this constellation. But I need a decent english translation for it. Does anybody know which constellation this is, and how I could translate the name?

Explanation:
contains Algol and has a Y shape; someone else needs to make sure how far south it's visible from

agree  hazmatgerman (X): Yes, and for visibility see ref. Mind you, Algol is near the shorter fork's end not at the junction, where Mirfak abuts.// And a nice question indeed. Best.
