German term or phrase: Ansätze
Hi,

I won't bother you guys much with notes like "Please note the specific field" as you guys will know from the context in a sec what sort of Ansätze they are so ... What I do wish to say though is that 'medical accounting' does not come into the picture, this is just regular accounting applied to Medical.

=> Is this "estimates"?

DE:
Halbjahres 2020.

projection; (budget) appropriation
Explanation:
Steffen W's buget & projections discussion entry sent me on auto-pilot cf. Zahn's glossary: Etatansatz to a 'budget appropriation' - about the only ProZ translation there hasn't been so far or heretofore, but there has indeed been a previous entry for projection: see the first weblink.

That reminds me to make an appointment with my Zorn-ooatzt in Vienna....

Don't you worry about the complicated case, the Central Londoner is on it.

agree  Eleanore Strauss: yes, this is better than approaches or assumptions in this context

-> Danke and thanks! I think so too- A psychic once commented to me : 'you will show others a blinding light'.

agree  RobinB: In the sense of "estimates" (which would be my first-choice translation).
2 hrs
-> Thanks, Robin. The asker had already mooted estimates - that I have an Austrian KV : Kostenvoranschlag overlap problem with. Contrary to the discussion entries, I believe appropriation & appropriated at for 'mit.... angesetzt' works throughout.

agree  David Hollywood: "estimates" or "projections"... either would work fine IMO
13 hrs
-> Thanks, David. Everyone seems to be glossing over the appropriation or 'dodging the appropriating bullet'.

agree  Steffen Walter: Where do you get the appropriation aspect from? This might even be grossly misleading - see https://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/budget appr... / I agree with the previous contributors that "projections" or "estimates" would work well.

-> Thanks Steffen. As intimated, your budget steered me via Zahn to 'appropriation/s', plus your weblink is US Am. Obiter, we Excel Company Card translators in Central London were asked to watch out for profit 'appropriations' to reserves or as distribs.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
neutral  Steffen Walter: Would you really write "All other methods follow (from) the actual figures of the first half-year 2020", as in the last example cited by Sebastian? Doesn't cut the mustard IMHO./No, I think that "methods" doesn't really fit "actual figures".
53 mins
-> I think it's the verb you picked ("follow") that doesn't sound natural here, not "method".
