German term or phrase: Simmerstrom
Hello,

Does anyone know what 'Simmerstrom' is?
Its related to the term Schwelbetrieb which refers to 'Threshold current'

It's a description of the various functions of the laser equipment.

Thanks ever so much for your help.

druppelstroom

Explanation:

Example sentence(s):
  • Die "druppel-stroom" zou 100mA zijn, dat is teveel op lange termijn.
  • Simmering is nothing more than allowing a trickle current (50mA to 10A) to flow in the lamp between pulses.

agree  Willem Wunderink: Ah, mooi!
